Now maybe no time better to be investing in property in the Algarve.
Statistics released by the National Institute covering just the first ten months ending in October 2014, reported that the number of visitors spending a night in the Algarve exceeded the total for the entire 2013, making last year one of the best for tourism in recent times.
Between January and October 2014, 15.5 million overnight stays took place in the Algarve which is an increase of 11.2% on the figures for the same period in 2013.
With a growth in both resident and non-resident visitors, particularly the British, Germans and Spanish to the region, this contributed to the successful results. Additionally the Algarve has seen a growth in overall revenue for the region by 14.1% year on year.
